Blind Hatred

Surrounded by fire

All the people yelling with such rage

"BURN HIM!! BURN HIM!! BURN HIM!!"





Its disgusting…they don't understand.

And for their blind hatred

This man

This black knight

Must die?





I will not let this pass.

I will not let them kill him

For their misdirected hatred.





I close my eyes as the thunder begins to roar

And the rain begins to fall.

And in a flash of lightning I come forward to the front And look up at him






He looks at me,

As if to plead for me not to reveal myself

I rather be besides him in death than let him die alone.






And in a long roar of thunder I scream and fall to my kneesAs my wings tear at my back, and are revealed.

My eyes an enraged blood red

My fangs now sharp as daggers.

Not caring who sees.





Everyone stands there. All the fire has been put out

But the rage still burns within them…

And myself





The peoples rage grows as I to my black knight and free him and stand beside him





Than A man from the center of the crowd brakes the silence

Screaming to everyone


"!!BURN THEM BOTH!!"



I jump and land in front of him



"Burn them both you say?"



I pull out my sword. And with only a gentle yet strong sweep. His head falls off

I look at scythe as he looks at me

As the peoples rage becomes action, that action being solely to kill us, to kill us both.





I stand besides him

Fight besides him

Until I can fight no more

And even then I will not stop fighting!






The rain is now but a small slow falling mist

The thunder has silenced

The lightning now gone



Together we stand back to back.

Both of us tired and covered in blood.

Surrounded by bodies of the dead dismembered towns people. Leaving no one alive but the children.




We turn and hold each other close

And just when we think we can leave…



"IT ISN'T OVER!!"



a man high up in a tower yells as

A poisoned covered arrow is shot

And hits its mark…right into my back,

Striking my heart



I hold onto scythe with what bit of energy I can.

And look into his eyes.

Scythes eyes begins to water as he kneels down holding me tight




"please…M Iah don't leave me!"



he says



I smile and reply



"I love you…and I will never truly leave you,

as long as you hold me close to your heart,…

You will never be without me"



I faintly smile as I cry and lose breath and kiss him gently
